(#1.) Free Private Lesson: (One-on-One) - One 30 minute lesson – Free with the pre-purchase 6 large buckets of balls at $8.00 each. Cost per person $48.00.

(#2.) Free Semi-Private Lesson: (“Your” Group of 2) - One 30 minute lesson. Free with the pre-purchase 4 large buckets of balls at $8.00 each. Cost per person $32.00

(#3.) Free Threesome Lesson: (“Your” Group of 3) - One 30 minute lesson – Free with the pre-purchase 3 large buckets of balls at $8.00 each. Cost per person only $24.00

(#4.) Free Foursome Lesson: (“Your” Group of 4) - One 30 minute lesson – Free with the pre-purchase 2 large buckets of balls at $8.00 each. Cost per person only $16.00

(#5.) Mix-and-Match (Groups of 4 to 12) This is a great way to meet new golfers. We do the very best we can to match you with golfers close or near to your same playing ability – This we have found is not a perfect science - Please expect several days of delay in booking for this type of lesson.
Cost per person only $16.00.
Note: The Mix-and-Match lessons are NOT available on the same day of booking – Please allow 7-10 days for us to match you with others of equal skill.
How to Book a Lesson:

Call as soon as possible with:
(A.) The type of lesson you wish.
(B.) The number of persons.
(If you have a group please contact them first to confirm their availability).
(C.) Please help us by selecting two or more days of the week that would be best for you.
(D.) The best times of the day for your lesson or groups.
Within 24-48 hrs we will confirm your Free Lesson request. You will then receive information on how to pay for your baskets of balls needed to lock in your Free 30 minutes Professional PGA Lesson.
Note: We wdo not accepting credit cards at this time.
Your first lesson will include:
(1.) A PGA Professional evaluation of your current swing.
(2.) A 30 minute lesson with Class “A”PGA Professional Craig Knight. (See bio’s below).
(3.) A discussion and demonstration on how to best help you improve your game.
NOTE: It will truly help if you write down any questions or concerns you may have about your swing/game so our PGA Professional can be sure to address your needs.
You may take as many Free Lessons as you wish this season until you feel you have reached your personal golfing goals.

Lessons are not given in rain (we are covering 8 of our bays soon).

**A little about your PGA Professional
We at Thruway Golf Center are very proud to introduce our new PGA Professional, Craig Knight. Craig is originally from the area, growing up and graduating from Forestville High School in the early 80's. He was a great athlete here in Chautauqua County and well known. He lettered in Football, Basketball and Baseball for 3 straight years at FHS. He picked up golf when he was 16 and took his first lesson from local great Jack Schubert at Shorewood CC, but did not really pursue the game in high school. Craig went to college at the University of New Mexico where he studied Physical Education, played basketball for 1 year, then transferred to Eastern New Mexico and played on the Tennis team for 1 year there. Craig came back to Western New York in 1993 and worked at Tri-County that season and got his first taste of the golf business. He then decided on a career as a Golf Professional and moved to Florida in the early part of "94" where he promptly passed his PAT (players ability test which is a prerequisite for becoming a PGA Professional), then continued his studies and received full membership in the PGA of America (the largest working Sports organization in the world) in 2000.
Craig has worked at several prominent clubs in Florida as well as the New England area and Conewango Valley right here at home. While in Florida, he worked for and studied under some of the top 100 instructors in the country such as Mike Bender and Craig Shankland. He has been around and learned from some of the legends of the game like Sam Snead, Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. He has taken lessons from and picked the brain of some of the greatest teachers in the history of the game. People like David Leadbetter, Eddie Merrins (the "Little Pro"), and Bob Toski. He has played golf and received on course advice for such greats as Paul Azinger, Rocco Mediate and Tony Jacklin who won the US and British open both in 1970). He has developed a teaching philosophy that is second to none and he is here to share it with you.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Do I have to hit all the buckets of balls I purchase for my lesson on the same day of my lesson?
A: No, You will be given a receipt (punch card) for your unused basket(s). Ball receipts expire on September 5, 2011.
Q: Can I take as many lessons as I want each week/month?
A: Yes – Each Lesson requires the pre purchase of a designated number of baskets of balls depending on which type of lesson you are taking (See #1.-5. Above).
Q: What happens if I cancel my lesson – Do I get a refund?
A: Sorry, NO cash refunds – However, If you provide us at least 24 Hours notice we can reschedule your lesson. If you do not wish to reschedule, You may still hit the buckets of balls you paid for.
Q: I have hit at least 6 large buckets of balls since Thruway Golf Range opened, so does this mean I get a free private golf lesson?
A: No - Each Lesson requires the pre purchase of a designated number of baskets of balls depending on which type of lesson you are taking (See #1.-5. Above). This combined revenue is what we use to book your PGA Professional.
Q: Can I bring my own group of 4-12 persons so I don’t have to wait 7-10 days to be Mix-and-Matched with other people I don’t know?
A: Yes.
Q: Can I leave my kids with you for lessons and pick them up when the lesson is over?
A: NO – All children between 7 – 12 yr old must be accompanied by an adult.
Q: Do you have free Childs clubs available in addition to the adult free club rentals?
A: Yes.
Q: Do you take credit cards or local personal checks?
A: At this time we only except cash or local checks.
